World Affairs Seminar Logo
This project was created during my internship with Nonprof-IT at UWM. The Nonprof-IT program pairs students with a local nonprofit to support website updates, social media, brand identity, and more. The nonprofit I worked for is the World Affairs Seminar (WAS), a summer youth program that teaches leadership and diplomacy skills. WAS requested that my team design a new logo and build a new website.
As the graphic designer, I took charge of creating the logo. Our client gave us complete creative freedom, so I was able to pick out color palettes, font choices, and develop a multitude of concepts. This exploration is shown below, along with the top four concepts and the top five versions the client picked out. The color palette the client picked out was also used in the new website. I was responsible for creating a style guide for the website and logo. In addition, I developed the new “Counselors” page on the WAS website and helped my teammates with the UI and UX design of their pages.

Sizing and Spacing

Snail Illustrations
For a digital art course, I was asked to design a set of four illustrations with three variations. I chose snails as my subject. The first set uses a layer mask to add texture, the second is formatted as stamps, and the third uses shadows to appear three-dimensional.

DAC Game Night
I am an officer of the Digital Arts and Culture Student Council, and I created this marketing design for a game night event we hosted. It is inspired by vintage video games and early digital design. The digital screens and flyers were displayed around UWM’s campus, and the social media posts appeared on DAC’s Instagram.

DAC Student Showcase
I had the opportunity to design marketing for the Digital Arts and Culture Student Showcase, which I participated in. The event date landed on Earth Day, so I incorporated natural elements and a clipping mask of Earth inside the acronym “DAC”. This design is representative of the DAC program. This is understood through the digitized and pixelated typography, background, and goose, which is the DAC mascot.

Secret Garden Zine
This is a personal project I created. It’s a zine inspired by one of my favorite childhood movies, The Secret Garden. I took all of the pictures, and the text consists of quotes from the book.
